Please don’t ask meta-questions in the chat!
A meta-question is a question about asking a question, for example:
Can I ask a question?
Anyone here who knows Python?
Is there a React expert?
Can someone help with Docker?
— “Why is this bad?”
In IT chats people help each other voluntarily.
Meta-questions make everyone wait while you prepare the real question.
This wastes time and reduces the quality of help.
Instead, directly describe your problem:
what doesn’t work, errors, code, and what you already tried.
The same applies to messages like “Hi”, “Are you here?”, “Got a minute?”.
In chat this causes delays.
Just ask your question.
